Directions
Use 2 servings of Synergy-Iso-7 daily. Use 1 serving (2 level scoops) as the pre-exercise meal approximately 60-90minutes prior to workout. Use the second serving throughout the day when required or as the vital post-workout meal.
To mix: add 2 scoops of Synergy-Iso-7 to 300-350mls of ice cold water or 350mls of ice cold milk and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.

Used Cyclone for 6 months with no problems. Switched to PHD but had stomach cramps and diarrorhia. Binned it like other user on here and now switched back.
have been using Maximuscle Cyclone for the past few years, but agree with most you cant help but feel you are over paying for marketing etc. On the basis of reviews, I tried the strawberry version of synergy. The first time I was violently ill for 2 days, but blamed it on a stomach bug that was going around. Waited for 2 weeks before trying again with a quarter dosage (1 scoop)….and it completely threw me back to the bathroom. Tried again a few days later just top be sure and it was just not compatible. Strawberry is also sickly sweet.
Can’t recommend, have binned the product and will move back to Cyclone.

I used this for 6 weeks as I'd always wanted to try this brand.
I added i went from being able to squeeze out 4-5 reps of 120kg on the bench press to being able to do 10 comfortably and now i'm benching 130-140 depending on energy levels.

I love all the PHD's products but this is defiantely one of the best.
I've never written a review before, but I often read them before buying a product!
I've found that this product is hard to mix, but found that adding powder to only a small amount of water (eg. 150ml) helps it mix much quicker. Do that and then add the rest of the water after and that gets rid of the problems with mixing.
I have found that it has given me gains in the gym, feel like I can lift more. I haven't seen ridiculous gains like some people have stated, but I have used it along with a healthy diet to get rid of excess fat!
Baring this in mind, I have seen some gains and this is with a lower calorie and carb diet. I would be interested to see how good it is after the summer when I start a higher calorie and carb diet.
I have found this product to be good, and I have used cyclone before. That tended to give better gains but as soon as I stopped using it the gains disappeared, that has not happened with this product.
All in all a good all-in-one!
This product is a great all in one that influenced a massive increase in strength and also mass gains in the build up to the rugby season, taken twice a day with vigorous gym regimes will inevitably lead to increased strength and lean muscle mass
It mixes well. Excellent product. I would definately recomend it to anyone. Good progess in terms of lifting. Going from 40kg bench press to 60kg within a 2 months!!!
This stuff is rubbish. I got drawn into buying it due to all the positive reviews. Its clear to me now that the review writers must either work for or are shareholders in the company that makes it. The best thing about it is the container as it looks the business. Thats the only positive as from once you open it everything goes downhill. Unless your planning on using a food blender each time you want a shake then don't buy this, It takes about five minutes of vigourous shaking in a normal protein shaker to get it to mix, It just sticks together and ends up being lumpy and full of big unmixed balls of protein. It doesn't taste very good compared to other proteins i've tried. It made no difference to training or gave me any growth. I have been training for 12 years and know what I'm talking about. Save yourself a few quid and get the G&N As one, it is far better and stocked everywhere although obviously super cheap on this site.

If you are looking to put on size then you need to limit cardio as you are burning calories that could be used to to build muscle. You can add dextrose to the post workout if you wish, ideally look for around 50-100g carbs maximum for a post workout shake.

You seem to be missing a good pre-workout product. The best are probably SuperPump Max, Rocked and Hemo Rage (the last two have a very strong stimulant in them, so use these with caution or not at all if you are sensitive to stimulants).

If you are slim and have trouble building muscle, you will never succeed unless you increase your calories dramatically. Bodyfat is an inevitable consequence of gaining muscle unless you are just starting to train or have very fortunate genetics. We would strongly recommend a weight gainer product. Choose one that contains creatine or add creatine to your gainer. Excellent choices are Mutant Mass and Mass-Tech. In addition to the gainer, you need to train hard and consistently and to eat a LOT!

This is a great all-in-one product that contains all the protein you need with creatine, amino acids and other nutrients, along with a moderate amount of carbs. So it is a good lean mass gainer. If you take 2 full servings per day you shouldn't require much else. You can always add more aminos, a pre-workout product, etc but it pretty much covers the bases as much as a single product can. If you are only using it once per day, then you will benefit from 1 additional daily serving of creatine.

If you move to the Muscle Fuel Anabolic by USN, this will supply more calories and allow you to gain faster. You have to decied whether you want to gain muscle or stay (or get) lean. If you try to do both at the same time, you'll likely fail at both. So either gain muscle along with some fat or get lean and try to preserve as much muscle as possible. Feel free to request more advice when you have decided upon your main priority.

Firstly NO-Xplode is a pre workout designed to give you great mental focus and muscle pumps during training. ISO-7 does not have this stimulant effect. So combining the two is great.
In order to build the maximum amount of muscle you need to be over eating your daily intake of calories on a daily basis.
ISO-7 is a great product for people who are looking to maintain as it offers only a small amount of carbs.

Hi, i play rugby and after weight training and also cardio/rugby training i take 2 scoops of USN Whey Protein mixed with an isotonic drink (usually Gatorade) and USN Creatine Monohydrate. I usually have 1 scoop with 200ml of gatorade 30-60 mins before workout. I then take 2 scoops of USN MF Dynamic approx 2-3 hours after workout. I was thinking of changin my post workout supplement from Whey to Synergy and wondered if you would recommend it, will it be a better choice?. If you are trying for maximum recovery - both of muscle and energy repletion between training sessions/matches, then the Synergy may be a little too low in carbs. You could use Muscle Fuel anabolic, which already has the creatine (and amino acids, etc) and you wouldn't have to add carbs to it (Gatorade). If you're watching the calories a bit, then go for the PhD Recovery 2:1 - it contains the creatine, protein, moderate carbs etc).

Methoxy has never been shown to have any harmful effects and PhD don\'t recommend that you take time off it.
Muscle Fuel Anabolic is best if you want maximum gains but possibly too many calories for some people or if you are trying to stay lean. As you say, Synergy is at least as good a formula as Promax Extreme and has a more sensible protein to carbohydrate ratio that is perfect for gaining lean mass without overdoing the carbs or calories for those who gain fat easily. - Q.

The Methyl-T3- Strength Stack isn\'t an ingredient, it is the name given to the combination of the 3 ingredients including 5-Methyl-7-Methoxy-Isoflavone.
5-Methyl-7-Methoxy-Isoflavone has been arround in a few different forms for decades and has been used in sports nutrition products for at least 10 years now and hundreds of thousands of products have been sold that contain it. I don\'t know of any negative effects having ever been reported from its use. So I doubt it has any negative effects. However, in the end, it has to be your decision. - Q.
just like to check on a few of the ingrediants. Firstly the methyl-methoxyisoflavone, many sources suggest cycling it for 4weeks on 1 week off and same with the creatine and HMB., is the serving found in synergy high enough to warrant this? As far as the Methoxy, there isn\'t enough research to say you should or shouldn\'t \"cycle off\" it but there is no evidence of harm in using it long term so far. Creatine and HMB can be taken continuously because they and similar molecules have been in our diet since before humans walked upright and there is no evidence of negative side effects in either (despite the ill-informed reports of side effects from creatine).
There is no evidence that ZMA absorption or retention is affected by dairy products. - Q.

Creatine has not been shown to affect growth (height wise) and there's no good reason to believe it is a problem to take it at your age but very little research has been done on people your age. Whoever told you it can have negative affects on your heart and organs is misinformed. There are now over 3000 scientific studies on creatine and most experts believe it has no negative side effects whatsoever. The Synergy is probably a good choice as (like you said) it is not high in creatine.

Hi, I take 2 scoops of PHDs Synergy 60-90 minutes before the gym, then 1 scoop of Universal Nutritions Shock Therapy 30 minutes prior to my workout, and this is followed by 2 scoops of USNs Muscle Fuel Anabolic right after training. Can't really improve much on that. The only possible change would be that if you are only using the MF Anabolic (which is a great product, don't get me wrong) as a post-workout product, you could switch to a purpose-designed post-workout product like Torrent or Anator P70.

Yes, these products contain mostly different ingredients. The only thing to watch is your zinc intake, as both products contain a good dose of zinc. Over time, this can possibly have some side effects but as long as you don't take both products together for more that a few months, it shouldn't be a problem.

Synergy also contains creatine, so as long as you take it twice per day, you'll be fine for creatine. Be aware that Synergy has fewer carbs and calories, so you can expect slower mass gains but perhaps with less fat gains (depends upon your bodytype and goals which product is appropriate for you).

This product does contain a moderate amount of creatine monohydrate, which has been heavily studied and is considered safe but hasn't been studied in too many people under 18 (although it has been studied in young children with certain diseases without any aparent negative effects). This is the perfect supplement to use as the two most important supplements to take are creatine and protein and this product contains both. It also has a moderate amount of carbs to help with protein and creatine delivery. Take this product immediately after training. You can also take it an hour or so before training but you may have a small meal instead and have the other serving at a different time of day. For quickest results, take three servings per day for the first 7 days and then back to 2 per day.

One Stop has a similar ingredient profile to Synergy but reports are that the One Stop doesn't taste that great. Promax extreme is very low in carbs (so you won't absorb as much creatine and won't recover optimally after workouts) and also only contains 10 servings per tub.
Synergy suggests that you take it twice per day - 60-90 min before your workout and either any other time during the day or just after your workout. You could also use it just as a post workout product and have it between meals on non-workout days.
