This is my favourite protein - great nutritional values and choc & straw flavours are immense. Strawberry mixes a bit thicker for some reason so I just add 50ml more water

Taste is good in comparison to other proteins I have tried and does mix well. To those complaining about lack of gains I'm afraid that is dependant on your genetics, training and diet as a whole- this is only protein powder!
Love that supp. I only drink it b4 bed time. 7days a week. Improves my recovery in a long run. Capputino is soooo good! Usually slow relise protein gives me stomach problems, but IGF 1 Protein is very well absorbed, so as soon as im awake im ready 4 big breakfast!

Well for starters the 100% whey protein is just a standard whey protein product whereas the pure protein IGF1 is a combination protein consisting of fast and slow release proteins and loaded with BCAA’s and multivitamins. The 100% whey protein is ideal for first thing in the morning and immediately post workout whereas pure protein igf1 is perfect for during the day and before bed.
Everyone wants to build mass and loose body fat but the reality is, we can’t. You need more calories than you are burning in a day to build muscle and around 500 calories less a day to decrease body fat. This product contains dairy ingredients but doesn't contain any other obvious animal source products. So as far as I can tell it is fine for vegetarians.
However, I've looked at the ingredients for the chocolate flavour, if you opt for strawberry, ensure the colouring "cochineal red" is not in the ingredients, as that is sourced from animals.

Any low carb (and low fat) protein should aid in fat loss, as protein makes you feel full longer and requires more energy to metabolize. You should aim for a minimum of 2 grams of protein for every 1 kilo of your body weight daily and keep cutting your carbs (especially the starchy and sugary ones and especially at night) until you are losing about 1 kilo per week - this will need adjusting because you'll lose more fat and weight early on but then the losses will come more slowly and require more restriction and/or more exercise.
Take as many servings as needed daily to achieve the recommendation below when added to your other dietary protein intake.

Yes, it already contains some L-glutamine. Probably the best thing to stack it with for muscle and strength gains is some kind of creatine product - use Cell-Tech for the fastest gains in mass or a powdered creatine or Creakic for lean gains.

Many people e-mail us and want to gain muscle without gaining fat. This is possible when you just start out training or when you come back from time off the gym and possibly if you have fantastic genetics.
BUT outside of the above scenarios, you are NOT going to gain muscle without gaining some fat!
To make maximum muscle gains, you have to also gain some fat because you have to be eating more calories than you are burning. So you have to decide whether you want to make big, fast gains or moderate, slow gains (or possibly no gains at all) by trying to stay lean while gaining muscle.
If you want fast gains, take a Weight Gainer (like Mutant Mass or Mass-Tech) along with some kind of creatine product (the Mass-Tech already includes creatine). For slower gains but less gains in fat, go with a low-calorie product which also contains other muscle-building ingredients, such as Nitro-Tech or Synergy Iso-7.
The relative amount of fat and muscle you gain will also depend upon your training intensity and duration and your particular genetics (whether you gain fat easily).

Anabolic would always be best after training because it has a good whack of carbs and creatine along with the protein. Also, to make faster gains, Anabolic is better because it has the carbs, creatine and extra calories from those.
If you're taking the Pure Protein only, take it first thing in the morning (just before breakfast), unless you have a big serving of eggs with breakfast. Then take it either with snacks, just before meals that aren't high in protein and just before bed.

However, you may benefit from a protein blend product (which includes whey) if you go long periods without protein or if you don't eat a high-protein meal shortly before bed. Whey feeds amino acids to the muscle for about 4 hours, after that it will have been fully digested, whereas blends can continue to deliver aminos to the bloodstream for over 10 hours.
