"Doesn't mix well or taste good. Label has contradictory statements. Back to PhD Diet Whey for me."

"The product doesn't mix well, it sticks to the scoop and leaves a scoop shaped clump of protein in your shaker. Tastes is good and price is great."

"I first tried this product in an attempt to save money and was a bit apprehensive as I couldn't understand why it cost so much less than other brands. I have been using it for a year now and it is excellent. I found it gives as good results as other more popular brands both in strength and lean muscle gains. I find the vanilla and banana taste absolutely fine even mixed with water. This will help you gain LEAN MUSCLE not fat and water retention as can happen with mass gainers laden with crazy amounts of calories and carbs."

"Cant reccommed atlas enough, tried various shakes and stacks through the years but my lean gains on this have been remarkable highest bv protein in its class, this is what the REAL showstoppers look for not a tub with branch warren on the front promicing youll look like him in 3 weeks if you stack 39 of muscletechs products!! With my first comp coming up in 2013 this has definatly put me ahead in my field (frank zane would be proud) forget the gimmicks and false promices of other proteins buy this buy some branch chain aminos and train hard, youll get the rewards."

Q&A
Q What flavour is this?
A

Choc, strawberry, vanilla, banana.

Q Can woman take this?
A

Yes

Q do i take atlas whey protien after my workout for best results do i take it with milk or water and how long after my workout do i take the whey protien
A

Immediately post workout as soon as you have dropped that last weight would be the best time to ingest your Atlas All Whey protein, ideally with water so its more readily absorbed and straight into the bloodstream to get to work. Also, protein can be taken any time of the day for an extra protein hit, an ideal time would be around 30minutes before a workout so you have a steady stream of amino acids in the blood.

Q Hi I have heard you cant drink this 3 hours before or after any meal - is this true? when is the best time to drink this, in relation to the time you eat and work out, please? I have been eating my dinner at 7 then working out till 8-9 then bed then drinking this when i wake up at 6AM, then about 5 mins later only having one weetabix and semi-skimmed milk for breakfast, then lunch at 12ish - is that OK, please? Many thanks for this service!!!
A

You can have this any time of day. The best times are: 1. after training 2. About 1 hour before training 3. Just before a meal that is low in protein 4. Between meals and before bed Taking it with other foods may slow the absorption a bit but will not significantly affect how the product works in most cases. Taking it with milk won't slow down the whey or affect its performance.

Q Is this suitable in gluten free or gluten reduced diet?
A

As this product shows no information regarding any grains used in it's formulation we would recommend this is suitable for gluten-free/ gluten reduced diets, for more information please contact Atlas direct, as it is possible that it is produced in a facility that handles grains.

Q Would you recommend this whey over the PHD Pharma Whey? or is there any other Whey protein on the market that you would strongly recommend for lean muscle and gaining muscle?
A

Pharma whey is our best seller for a good reason - low carb, low fat, high quality and tastes great. That's not to say there's anything wrong with Atlas Whey but I wouldn't say Atlas is better. Any quality whey protein will assist in muscle building and repair.
