"I've been a user of CNP products for over 15 years now, but this has got to be one of the worst protein shakes I've ever bought, from any brand. It's way too thick. Two scoops results in a shake which is barely drinkable it's so thick. Not a particularly great Strawberry taste either, compared to some of the other leading brands out there. I don't think I'll be buying this one again."

Q&A
Q Hi - I'm training regularly and have been advised to purchase a good quality post exercise recovery shake. I train Muay Thai 4 mornings each week for 90 minutes at a high intensity. I've been looking at the CNP Pro Lean Whey and wondered if you would recommend this as being suitable. Being a combat sport, I'm keen to keep the calorific content on the lower side as reducing weight is important to my long term goals. Can you tell me whether you would recommend this product and whether it is in stock at present. Kind Regards Ian

Hello, Indeed - any sort of protein supplement taken post-workout will help to preserve lean muscle tissue and prevent catabolisis. That said, I would steer more towards a product designed specifically for recovery, such as CNP Professional Pro Recover 1.2kg. This will also contain carbohydrates, to replenish depleted stores, and electrolytes, to help rehydrate following exercise. Another option is PhD Nutrition Recovery 2:1 1.2kg. If you are looking to lose weight, it may be necessary to control your carbohydrate intake, and therefore I would recommend CNP Pro Lean Whey in that instance. I hope you find this information useful.

Q Hi there, just bought the cnp pro lean whey. I mixed 2 scoops with 600 ml of water (cold) and it comes out really thick. Kinda like saliva (lol). Jw if this is normal. Many thanks
