Beef has proven itself as a favourite anabolic protein source for many champion bodybuilders. MuscleMeds advanced hydrolyzed Beef Protein Isolate is capable of delivering rapid absorption of high concentrations of amino acids fast. Carnivor Mass provides the mass building benefits of beef “at the speed of whey,” without the lactose, allergies, fat, cholesterol and other problems associated with dairy products. MuscleMeds BPI is 350% more concentrated in amino acids than steak and more concentrated than whey. And it’s enhanced with 5 grams of creatine and additional BCAAs for even greater anabolic power!
Insulin Release Amplification
The speed at which a nutrient particle is absorbed is partly a function of its surface area. The greater the surface area the more digestive enzyme molecules can react with it simultaneously. This promotes greater rates of absorption and amplified insulin release. The MuscleMeds lab managed to reduce the average size of the carbohydrates particles in iSpike while increasing the total number of particles. The result is a staggering increase in reactive surface area and faster absorption. This could result in the feeling of anabolism you’ve been waiting for!
Did you know that when you drink calories rather than chew them, you skip the important first step of carbohydrate digestion and bypass carbohydrate digesting enzymes secreted into your saliva? This fact has been totally neglected by makers of conventional mass gainers. It can result in a delay in caloric absorption. iSpike addresses this problem with a natural system of amylases that slices through every carbohydrate particle in its path. iSpike enzymes act on straight chains of glucose molecules as well as at branch points. This encourages insulin release amplification that wouldn’t be possible with regular foods or garden-variety mass gainers.
High-speed BPI, surface area enhanced carbohydrates and a multi-action enzyme system – you’d think this combination would be enough to create some major mass gains. But MuscleMeds went a step further by giving iSpike a novel amino acid for increased mass building effects. Now every serving of Carnivor Mass has the potential to deliver that much more of an anabolic impact.
Once insulin is released into the bloodstream, it has to find its way into muscle tissue where it can transmit anabolic signals. If you’ve never heard of adiponectin, you’re not alone. Scientists believe that adiponectin may function as a gatekeeper, allowing more insulin to reach your muscles upon entering the bloodstream. This is critical if you want the calories you eat to be used to build muscle mass and not be stored as fat. The botanical extract ingredient in Carnivor Mass was shown to have a positive effect on adiponectin levels which may result in greater muscle gain.
Providing iSpike with its second and third layers of insulin signal amplifying support is a patent-pending mineral known as Chromium 454 (Cr454) and D-pinitol (a cyclitol). These two compounds take over where insulin leaves off, opening up even more “doors” on the surface of your muscle cells through which glucose can penetrate. In vitro study results show that Cr454 increases glucose uptake into human skeletal muscle cells by an impressive 300%. With more glucose entering your muscle cells in the presence of insulin, even stronger anabolic signals are possible, which support faster speeds of glycogen replenishment and mass building.
iSpike Technology (Consisting of Insulin-Release-Amplifiying Reactive Carbohydrate System (Micronparticulated Maltodextrin, Micronparticulated Waxy Maize, Amylase and Gluco-Amylase) and Insulin-Signal-Amplifying System (Agaricus blazei, D-Pinitol, 4-Hydroxyisoleucine, Patent Pending Chromium 454)), Carnivore (Consisting of Hydrolyzed Beef Protein Isolate, Creatine Monohydrate, L-Glutamine, Branched Chain Amino Acids, (BCAAs: L-Leucine, L-Valine and L-Isoleucine) and Anabolic Nitrogen Retention Technology Intermediates:, GKG (Glutamine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate), OKG (Ornithine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate), AKG (Alpha-Ketoglutarate), KIC (Alpha-Ketoisocaproate)), Hydrolyzed Beef Gelatin, Cocoa, Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCTs), Natural and Artificial Flavours, Salt, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, Silicone.
Please Note: Nutritional facts and ingredients may vary slightly between flavours.
Add 500ml water to a shaker bottle, blender or other container, add 4 scoops of Carnivore Mass. Mix or blend until the desired texture is achieved before drinking. For a thicker, sweeter shake, add less water. For a thinner shake, add more water.
"I’ve made some good, lean gains with this product. Both flavours are great; no bloating or gas either (!) making it superior to whey protein in my opinion. Mixes well with almond milk and has a lovely, velvety texture – like egg white. I look forward to this before and after my workout. It runs out pretty fast though. "

"GOOD QUALITY PRE WORKOUT PROTEIN THIS, WITHOUT THE SUGAR AND FAT, BUT 4 SCOOPS IS FAR TO MUCH TO DRINK, AS YOU NEED 160Z OF WATER FOR MIXABILITY. 2 SCOOPS MAKES THE PRODUCT GO FURTHER."

QCan I take this with M-stak for good gains?
Yeah taking M-Stak with a mass gainer will help you boost testosterone levels which will help keep your body in an anabolic state. Combine the Carnivor mass with a good resistance program to illicit the best gains from your product.
QIm currently unsing musclemeds carnivor, but want to add a mass builder in to my diet. I'm tore between the carnivor mass and usn muscle fuel anabolic, obviously both are different but which is showing to be most beneficial to users?
To be honest you answered your own question. Both products are different as one is a mass gainer and one is an all-in-one. The mass gainer will be all about the protein carbs and fats whereas the all-in-one will contain extra creatine bcaa's glutamine and other muscle building nutrients to help build quality mass. If you are using separate bcaa's creatine & glutamine then go for carnivore mass if not then USN Anabolic.
QIs this as bad for u as eating to much beef in terms of health ?
It depends in what context you mean - I don't regard beef as a 'bad' food when eaten in conjunction with an otherwise healthy diet, so long as the balance of nutrients is right.
Carnivor Mass supplies a concentrated source of amino acids derived from a beef protein source that can be rapidly absorbed; used as the directions state, this will not lead to health implications, if your diet and training regime is correctly tailored to your fitness goals.
