The protein requirements of athletes is approximately 1.2-1.8g/kg body weight, compared with 0.8-0.9g/kg body weight for less active individuals. The whey protein in Nutrisport 90+ Protein is absorbed quickly, having a very high biological value and an anabolic effect that lasts a couple of hours. The Micellar Casein in 90+ Protein is absorbed much more slowly, giving a sustained anti-catabolic action. It has therefore been recommended to take Whey Protein Isolate in the morning, and Micellar Casein but not any denatured casein last thing at night. "Flavour is good but leaves a powdery aftertaste clogging all in your gums which isn't nice, also the packaging I received it in was terrible! It had no seal under the screw top lid, which has loosened in delivery so inside the outer packaging there was powder all over! "

Yes, you can take Arson with any of the protein products.

Most good protein powders have very little carbs. Probably the best two (which have just over 1 gram of lactose - the only sugar usually found in proteins) are Pharma Whey and Pure Protein IGF-1. Of course consult your doctor but that's a very small amount of sugar.

Q is this protein best taken before a workout (pre)

Q what is the difference between whey isolate and whey concentrate
A

In essence, whey protein isolate is thought of as the purest form of protein, which is protein concentrate that has been filtered further to remove (the majority of) the lactose and fat (derived from milk) content that remain. In this sense, isolate is considered to be approximately 15-20% higher in protein that concentrate. The former is also likely to be faster-absorbing than the latter, and therefore, is an excellent recovery aid for muscles. I hope this addresses your question.

Q When i opened my 5kg chocolate i noticed it was 2/3 full is this correct?

Yes, there will still be a weight of 5 kg present.

This price that you found is suspiciously low but if it is legit, then I would purchase it from them (make sure the product is within its "best before" date), as we set our prices as low as is possible whilst still making a profit that is worthwhile and therefore don't price match.

Hi Jake, if you eat 4-5 high protein meals per day, then you probably only need one or two shakes a day. If you aren't very consistent with eating your meals and they don't always have a good dosage of protein, then you could use up to 4 shakes daily. It also depends upon how hard and how often you train and how big you are - more training and bigger bodies need more protein.
